KMV recognised as ‘Performer Institution’ under ARIIA
KMV has been assigned a band of ‘Performer’ by Ministry of Education, Government of India under Atal Ranking of Institutions on Innovation Achievements (ARIIA) rankings of higher education institutions
Jalandhar, January 4, 2022: Kanya Maha Vidyalaya (Autonomous) has again proved its mettle in the field of innovation and entrepreneurship. It is a matter of great pride that KMV has been assigned a band of ‘Performer’ by Ministry of Education, Government of India under Atal Ranking of Institutions on Innovation Achievements (ARIIA) rankings of higher education institutions, for the promotion and support of ‘Innovation and Entrepreneurship Development’ amongst students and faculty. Throwing more light on it, Principal Prof. Atima Sharma Dwivedi averred that KMV has been recognised as the best performing institution for having streamlined innovation and entrepreneurship ecosystem in the college campus and for establishing mechanism to promote and support innovations and entrepreneurship among students and faculty members. She further maintained that KMV is also one of the very few institutions all over the country to be conferred 4.5 and 4 gold stars (highest rating in the country) by Ministry of Education, Govt. of India. KMV is among the top 155 institutions (including universities, engineering colleges and management institutes) all over the country to be selected as mentor institute as a part of Mentor-Mentee Programme of MoE’s Innovation Cell (Govt. Of India). Under its innovative initiatives, KMV has provided a breeding ground for student start-ups as with the continuous motivation, guidance and support of KMV-IIC team, as many as 14 students have started their own ventures, be it a fashion boutique, beauty salon, diet clinic, nutritive foods manufacturing or video editing.
Principal Prof. Dr. Atima Sharma Dwivedi congratulated Dr. Rashmi Sharma, President KMV-IIC, Dr. Neetu Chopra, Vice-President KMV-IIC and also lauded the efforts of IIC team for this outstanding achievement. She highlighted that innovative and entrepreneurial initiatives at KMV will improve the key competence of entrepreneurship and will lead to more innovative behaviour among students and faculty.
