Jalandhar, April 8, 2014: Through selection trial to be held at Indore from April 3 to 5 2014 Indian Women will be selected for West-Asian Women Softball Championship at Lahore, Pakistan. It is matter of pride for the city that four of KMV Softball players Shridevi, Anika, Richu and Manisha have been called for the selection trial mentioned above.
Principal Dr Atima Sharma said that KMV’s Department of Sports had a rich legacy of achievements to its credit and number of international sports women also. She was sure that the healthy tradition would continue and the selected sports persons would go on to clear the trial and also become a part of the winning team. She congratulated the selected softball players and also the head Department of Physical Education Ashoo Bajaj, Poonam and Meenu.
