Jalandhar, March 10, 2025: Kanya Maha Vidyalaya (Autonomous) organised an Extension lecture on "Nanoparticles and their applications. The lecture was organised by PG Department of Chemistry. The lecture was delivered by Dr. Uma Shanker, Head, P.G. Department of Chemistry from National Institute of Technology, Jalandhar.

Dr. Shanker elaborated on the fundamental concepts of nanoparticles, the wide-ranging applications in fields such as medicine, environment, electronics, and material science. He also emphasised upon the role of nanotechnology in drug delivery and sustainable development, highlighting its significance in advancing modern science and technology.
