KMV students receive free-of-cost Skill Certification Under Centre of Excellence in Retail recognised by Retailers Association’s Skill Council of India

Jalandhar, April 23, 2025: Kanya Maha Vidyalaya (Autonomous) in a significant stride towards empowering students with industry-ready skills, has successfully facilitated free-of-cost skill certification for 225 students under the Centre of Excellence in Retail, in collaboration with the Retailers Association’s Skill Council of India (RASCI). This initiative reinforces KMV’s commitment to equitable access to quality education and career-oriented skill development, ensuring that students gain professional competencies without financial barriers. 

The certification program covered key retail industry domains, including customer service, sales techniques, inventory management, and digital retail practices. By receiving RASCI’s prestigious recognition, these students now hold a nationally valued certification, significantly enhancing their employability prospects in the dynamic retail sector. 

Principal Prof. (Dr.) Atima Sharma Dwivedi expressed immense pride in the institution’s dedication to skill-based education, emphasizing how initiatives like this align with the vision of empowering youth with practical knowledge and industry-relevant expertise. She averred that at KMV, we believe that education should be accessible to all. This free-of-cost skill certification ensures that students, irrespective of financial constraints, are equipped with the necessary skills to thrive in a competitive job market.
