KMV successfully concludes eight-week-long happiness program- A key to inner sunshine

Jalandhar: Kanya Maha Vidyalaya successfully concluded the eight week long Happiness Program-'A Key to Inner Sunshine'.  The program was organised for the students of all streams of KMV Collegiate Sr. Sec. School. This program was brought to a fruitful culmination by Dr Neha, Assistant Professor, Human Development and Family Relations, Govt. Home College, Chandigarh. She once again taught the students one of the most important lessons of life  ‘He Who Laughs, Lasts.’ She began by reinstating the fact that the sole purpose of human life is to pursue happiness. Even small little things have bigger essence in life. Dr Neha said that happiness and resilience is incomplete without effective communication.

One should be a good listener and not judgmental towards people in general. She also gave few tricks to the students to maintain good relationships. The session was followed by queries from students. 

Principal Prof. Dr. Atima  Sharma Dwivedi averred that this program was an amalgamation of Psychology, Human Development and Research.  She reiterated that the purpose of this program is to make students a positive & responsible citizens of society. She further maintained that such programs help the students to develop an aptitude of productivity. She called the Happiness program a milestone and wished to have many more in future. Madam Principal lauded the efforts of Mrs Veena Deepak, Co-ordinator, KMV Collegiate Sr. Sec. School, Dr Madhumeet, Dean, Department of Student Welfare & the whole collegiate team for organising this program successfully.
