KMV successfully concludes third batch of free online course on Spoken English
Previous two batches of course received much appreciation
Jalandhar: In another initiative, PG Department of English of Kanya Maha Vidyalaya successfully concluded one week free online course on Spoken English after its previous success of two batches of online course on Spoken English. The free online course has received the participation of more than 100 people of different age and profession from Pan India belonging to different parts of the country along with college and school students as it was open to the outside participants also. The classes were taken on Zoom platform in virtual meetings. During the classes students were taught how to improve their speaking ability, acquire felicity in dialogue exchange. The participants were also made to learn basic English sentence patterns & were given tips to improve their vocabulary. Every topic was explained with the help of suitable examples by the resource persons via screen sharing. The participants were very much appreciative of this exemplary course as they got a great platform for improving their communication skills which is the need of the hour in today’s competitive world. Principal Prof. (Dr.) Atima Sharma Dwivedi averred that the PG Department of English has taken the initiative of offering these services for the well being of the society. This type of courses are of much value as it is important to stay update and also to acquire new communication skills. Principal lauded the efforts of Dr Madhumeet, Head, PG Department of English for successfully organizing this online course. Dr Madhumeet, Ms Babita, Ms Harpreet & Ms Pooja Duggal were the resource persons for this online course.
