KMV successfully organises Buddy Program to aware students about drug menace
Kanya Maha Vidyalaya (Autonomous ) and KMV Collegiate Sr. Sec. School under Buddy Programme of Punjab Government organised Poster Making Competition on Drug Abuse.
Jalandhar, November 27, 2024: Kanya Maha Vidyalaya (Autonomous ) and KMV Collegiate Sr. Sec. School under Buddy Programme of Punjab Government organised Poster Making Competition on Drug Abuse.
The activity was organised by Department of Student Welfare. It received an overwhelming response from the students of all the streams (Arts, Commerce and Sciences). The students showed their creativity and prepared posters to raise awareness on the harmful and deadly effects of drugs.
Principal Prof. (Dr.) Atima Sharma Dwivedi averred that the ultimate goal of such initiatives is to protect the present and future generations from the devastating health consequences. She talked in detail about the social, environmental and economic scourges of drugs. She also maintained that KMV always takes lead in social causes and makes people aware about social problems.
Principal encouraged the students to be more active in such initiatives and spread awareness on pertinent issues such as the present one.
On this occasion were present Dr. Madhumeet (Dean, Department of Student Welfare), Veena Deepak (Co-ordinator KMV Collegiate Sr Sec School), Anand Prabha (Incharge, KMV Collegiate Sr. Sec. School) and other faculty members.
