KMV Team Wins State Championship

Students selected for National Championship
Jalandhar, October 28, 2018: Kanya Maha Vidyalaya- the Autonomous & Heritage Institution, Jalandhar, one of the most prestigious institutions of the nation not only provides a suitable environment for academics, but it also holds an enviable niche in the field of sports. Keeping with the tradition, KMV's softball players Rajni, Kajal, Ramandeep, Parkash, Sushmita, Lachhmi, Manisha and Priya have won gold medal in the State Championship. They defeated Ludhiana team by 4-1. Rajni, Ramandeep and Sushmita have been selected for the Nationals to be held at Maharashtra. Principal Prof. (Dr.) Atima Sharma Dwivedi congratulated the team on their achievement and also appreciated the efforts of Ms Ashoo Bajaj, HOD, Dept. of Physical Education, Mr Davinder Singh and Ms. Ramanjit Kaur for always guiding and training the sports women to excel.
