Jalandhar, December 8, 2024: Kanya Maha Vidyalaya (Autonomous)always takes initiatives in organizing various informative programs to enhance knowledge and employability skills of the students. 

In continuation with these efforts, a one-day workshop was organized at Eastwood Village, Jalandhar, for the students of Bachelor of Vocation & Master of Vocation (Retail Management) by PG Department of Retail Management at PUMA Retail Brand Store. 

The resource person Ashwani Kumar acquainted the students on the topic “Impact of Retail Store Design and Store Layout on Customer Mind”. 

The workshop aimed to uncover how various elements such as store layout, signage, lighting, and product placement affect customers' perceptions, emotions, and decision-making processes. 

The workshop seeks to provide actionable insights and practical strategies for creating store designs that attract and retain customers, leading to increased engagement and loyalty. Students attained knowledge about the strategies for optimizing store layouts to facilitate smooth navigation, enhance product placement for increased sales, and reinforce brand identity through cohesive design choices. By focusing on these aspects, the workshop provided actionable insights and practical strategies for creating store environments that not only attract and engage customers but also foster loyalty and drive business success. 

Principal Prof.(Dr.) Atima Sharma Dwivedi guided and motivated all the students and lauded the efforts of the HoD Dr. Rashmi Sharma and faculty members of Retail Management for guiding them towards a safe and bright future.
