Jalandhar: Kanya Maha Vidyalaya (KMV) always takes initiatives for enhancing the learning capabilities of the students & it is a matter of great pride that KMV is the only institution which held the online skill-assessment of the students conducted by Retailers Association’s Skill Council of India, Mumbai (RASCI), Government of India for Level 5 (Retail Team Leader), Level 6 (Retail Departmental Manager) and Level 7 (Retail Store Manager). The result is outstanding with 100% pass percentage. It is important to mention that the students of Retail Management under Kaushal Kendra have a dual benefit of earning a degree from university and skill certificate issued by Retailers Association’s Skill Council of India, Mumbai (RASCI), Government of India.
Principal Prof. Dr. Atima Sharma Dwivedi congratulated all the successful students and the faculty for their remarkable efforts and guiding the students towards a successful and bright future. She averred that the assessment by sector skill council of India ensures that students have the knowledge and skills required for the industry into which they have to be absorbed.
During the period of nationwide lockdown due to COVID crisis, it was a major challenge to hold this assessment for the students but our students’ academic growth is the utmost priority for us.
