KMVites fetch laurels at international level
KMV’s Garima stands second in international story writing competition and Mehak excels in seven online MOOCs Courses
Jalandhar: Ms Garima Sooden, a student of Kanya Maha Vidyalaya bagged second position in International Story/ Event Writing competition organised by Ginni Devi Modi Girl’s PG College, Modinagar, Ghaziabad. She was awarded for her story titled ‘A Memory from 1947’. Going with the times when the inclination is drifting towards MOOCs (Massive Open Online Courses), KMV students are not only undertaking such courses but are also excelling in them. Ms Mehak Verma, a student of BCA Semester IV of PG Department of Computer Science & Applications, has excelled in all the seven courses she had joined with the leading MOOCs provider - Udemy. She told that she was encouraged to take up these courses by her teachers as faculty at KMV always provide the most suitable counselling to its students & these MOOCs has been a great help in her studies. Mehak also aspires to be a Software professional and she is working in this direction in a very focused manner.
Principal Prof. Dr. Atima Sharma Dwivedi congratulated and blessed the students on her achievement and also motivated the other students to follow their path. Madam Principal also lauded the efforts of faculty members for their support to the students and always encouraging them to venture into innovative endeavours.
