KMVites fetch laurels at national level
Principal congratulated the students on their brilliant achievements
Jalandhar: Keeping with the trend, two KMVites have again made Kanya Maha Vidyalaya (KMV) proud by their outstanding achievement. Arshdeep Kaur, a student of M. A. Fine Arts Sem III has bagged 2nd position all over Punjab in an online painting competition organised by Dept. Of History and Centre on Studies in Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji, Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar on the occasion of Guru Teg Bahadur Ji 400th birth anniversary. This state level competition received entries from all over the Punjab and only the top three paintings were provided with e-certificates. Another KMVite, Pahul Padam was recently selected for a summer research training program of 2 months with Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR)- North East Institute of Science and Technology (NEIST), Jorhat, Assam. She was selected for the research project titled “Study of footprints and evolutionary patterns of animals of different classes”. It was a research project in which the data was to be collected and the project was to be submitted on the official website of CSIR-NEIST. This research training involved specialised lectures, live demonstration of high end equipments, instruments and the procedures such as demonstration on lab scale fabrication of super capacitor, high resolution transmission electron microscope, confocal microscope and many more. At the end of the training annexures were provided by the organisation as the requirement needed to provide the certificates.
Principal Prof Dr Atima Sharma Dwivedi congratulated the students on their brilliant achievements. She averred that KMV provides the most suitable ambience to the students in order to develop all the spheres of their personality. These type of achievements of the students speak a volume about the commitment of KMV to provide quality based world class education to the students.
