This educational visit provided an invaluable opportunity for students to connect classroom theory with real-world practices and deepen their understanding of milk's nutritional value, processing techniques, and industry standards.
Upon arrival, the students were warmly welcomed by Anil Kumar Mishra (General Manager), who shared an overview of the plant’s history, operations, and commitment to quality assurance. During the visit, students observed each stage of milk processing, from pasteurization and homogenization to packaging. The students also engaged in discussions about the nutritional challenges faced in milk fortification and the importance of offering products.
The industry visit concluded with an interactive session where students discussed career opportunities within the dairy sector and the critical role nutritionists play in ensuring product safety and nutritional quality.
