KMVites learn intricacies of mall management
Kanya Maha Vidyalaya (Autonomous) always takes initiatives in organizing various informative programs to enhance knowledge and employability skills of the students. Realizing the fact that in modern era, competition is increasing in every sphere of life, a one-day visit to Elante Mall, Chandigarh was organized by PG Department of Retail Management and Textile Design & Apparel Technology for the students of B.Voc. and M.Voc. Retail Management.

Jalandhar, April 21, 2024: Kanya Maha Vidyalaya (Autonomous) always takes initiatives in organizing various informative programs to enhance knowledge and employability skills of the students. Realizing the fact that in modern era, competition is increasing in every sphere of life, a one-day visit to Elante Mall, Chandigarh was organized by PG Department of Retail Management and Textile Design & Apparel Technology for the students of B.Voc. and M.Voc. Retail Management.
The students visited renowned stores such as Zara, H&M, Max, Aldo, Levis, Clarks, US Polo, Marks & Spencer, Pantaloons, Shoppers Stop, Vero Moda, Tommy Hilfiger, MAC and Trends. The students gained knowledge of various practical aspect related to mall management, inventory handling, warehouse management, store operations, visual merchandising, fixtures and lighting, store layout and design customer dealing etc.
The students found the visit very informative as the visit added to their knowledge about the dynamic world of retail and wholesale.
Principal Prof.(Dr.) Atima Sharma Dwivedi lauded the efforts of Dr. Gopi Sharma, Dr. Rashmi Sharma, Mrs Chetna, Mrs Vibhuti and other faculty members for guiding the students towards a safe and bright future.
