KMVites participate in Anti-Drug Awareness Marathon organised by District Administration, inspires Youth towards a healthy lifestyle

Jalandhar, April 29, 2025: KMV Collegiate Sr. Sec. School, under the aegis of Kanya Maha Vidyalaya (Autonomous) in collaboration with NSS, NCC, and the Department of Physical Education, participated in the Anti-Drug Awareness Marathon organized by the Jalandhar District Administration. The event aimed to inspire the youth to adopt a healthy, drug-free lifestyle and to raise awareness about the detrimental effects of drug abuse. Continuing its long-standing commitment to promoting health and positive practices among students and the wider community, more than 150 enthusiastic students participated in the marathon.
On this occasion, Principal Prof. Dr. Atima Sharma Dwivedi congratulated the participants. She emphasized that communities which stay physically active not only ensure personal fitness but also contribute to the well-being of society at large. She further highlighted the importance of such initiatives in promoting healthy habits, and building strong communities. She also encouraged the students to incorporate regular physical activity into their lives and lauded the faculty for the successful participation in the marathon. It is pertinent to mention that all the participants received certificates and medals for participating in the marathon.
