KMVites participate in various competitions dedicated to Republic Day

Jalandhar: Kanya Maha Vidyalaya organised various online competitions dedicated to the celebration of Republic Day. The competitions were organised by PG Department of Music. Competitions under the category of music, dance & musical instrument playing were organised. Students from all streams participated in these competitions with full zeal & enthusiasm. Students showcased their talent by presenting beautiful song compositions & dance performances attributed to their beloved motherland. Students also paid tribute to their nation and sang glorious renditions in praise of their country.
Principal Prof Dr Atima Sharma Dwivedi averred that these types of competitions enhance the spirit of healthy competition among the students. Principal congratulated the students on their achievements & also lauded the efforts of Dr Poonam Sharma, Head, PG Department of Music & other faculty members for this initiative.
The results for the various competitions were as follows:
Singing competition:
1st: Pranavcheet Kaur
2nd: Ripudaman
3rd: Shreyasi
Consolation Prize: Yashika & Navdeep
Musical Instrument Playing:
1st: Hema
2nd: Harpreet & Harshpreet
Dance competition:
1st: Shreya
2nd: Himanshi
