KMVites participate in various creative and artistic competitions with full zeal and enthusiasm

Jalandhar, May 20, 2022: Kanya Maha Vidyalaya (Autonomous) always organises various activities for the students through which their talents can be holistically developed. Under this series, various creative and artistic competitions like calligraphy, poetry writing, story writing, poster making, slogan writing etc. were organized by the PG Department of Punjabi.
More than 150 students from different departments participated in these competitions with full zeal and enthusiasm and displayed their talents. Students named Sharanjit Kaur, Kamaljit, Sunita and Manpreet shared their memorable moments of the college. In the poster making competition, first place went to Palak Sharma, second place to Damika and third place to Simran and Muskan and Renu Bala and Pawneet Kaur were given consolation prizes. In the slogan writing competition, Shivani came first, Mahikpreet second, Manpreet third and Harmanpreet Kaur won the consolation prize. Komal Sharma and Palak bagged the first place in the poetry writing competition while Muskan, Simranjit and Navpreet Kaur were selected for the second place & Sunita and Chetanjit Kaur bagged the third place. At the same time Sukhmanpreet won the consolation prize in this competition. In calligraphy competition, Tanisha and Pratibha came first, Manpreet Kaur, Navdeep Kaur and Sarabjit Kaur came second and Harleen Kaur and Seema came third. In the story writing competition, Komalpreet Kaur and Manjot Kaur got first, Rosie got second and Khushi got third position.
Principal Prof. Dr. Atima Sharma Dwivedi distributed prizes to all the winning students and averred that KMV always focus on the overall development of its students and it is for this reason that KMV keeps on organising various activities to shape up the competitive skills of the students. Madam Principal lauded the efforts of Dr Iqbal Kaur, Head, PG Department of Punjabi for successfully organising the event.
