KMVites shine at International Vedic Math Olympiad

Jalandhar, January 17, 2025: Kanya Maha Vidyalaya (Autonomous) students namely Mahek, Charandeep, Amisha and Rasmeet have made their mark on the global stage by securing gold, silver and merit certificates in the 4th International Vedic Mathematics Olympiad 2024 organized by the UK based Institute for the Advancement of Vedic Mathematics, the prestigious competition witnessed participants over 10,000 students representing 10 countries including the USA and UK. 

Representing Kanya Maha Vidyalaya, Mahek,  a student of B.Sc.(Hons) Mathematics Sem-V and certificate course in Vedic Mathematics won gold certificate and first rank in the open category and secured overall equal third place across all 107 international centers while Charandeep, student of B.Sc.(Hons) Mathematics Sem-V and certificate course in Vedic Mathematics got silver certificate. Amisha and Rasmeet, students of M.Sc.(Mathematics) Sem-III and certificate course in Vedic Mathematics won merit certificate. 

Principal Prof. Dr. Atima Sharma Dwivedi congratulated the winner, emphasizing their achievements on the international platform and encouraging participants in future events. She further maintained that the impressive performance of KMVites highlights the gaining popularity and skill in Vedic Mathematics. She lauded the efforts of Veena Deepak (Head) and Anand Prabha for motivating students to participate in the Olympiad.
