KMVites shine at national and international level
Jalandhar, April 7, 2022: Kanya Maha Vidyalaya (Autonomous) students are continuously enhancing the prestige of the college at national and international level with their hard work. In an another major achievement, students of the PG Department of Mathematics brought laurels to the institution.
Shaina Gupta, a student of B.Sc. Honours Mathematics Semester VI, appeared for the National Level Entrance Test for Admission in Master's Programs. I.T.J.A.M. (Joint Admission Test for Masters) and achieved the All India Rank 623. Along with this, Vajinder Kaur, a student of the same department, bagged the second place in Lilavati Mathematical Poetry Competition (Open Category). She was also invited as a speaker at the 8th International Vedic Mathematics Conference. Not only this, Vijender is one of the few students from all over Punjab who has been selected in Level 2 through Mathematics Training and Talent Search Program.
Principal Prof. Dr. Atima Sharma Dwivedi while expressing happiness over these special achievements of the students congratulated them and wished them a bright future. She averred that every possible effort was being made to motivate the students in Kanya Maha Vidyalaya to continue the excellence in their respective fields.
