KMV’s Navneet Kaur emerge as state topper in National Graduate Physics Examination
Jalandhar, April 29, 2024: Kanya Maha Vidyalaya (Autonomous) continues to provide its students with various opportunities to showcase their hard work, dedication, and strong determination to excel. In this series, the undergraduate students of K.M.V. in Non-Medical and Computer Science have passed the National Graduate Physics Examination, bringing glory to the institution. In this examination, Navneet Kaur, a sixth-semester student of B.Sc. (Non-Medical), emerged as the state topper, demonstrating her hard work and dedication. Along with her, Aditi and Arshnoor Kaur, students of B.Sc. Computer Science, secured their place in the top 10% achievers of the examination.
It is noteworthy that 27 students of KMV, along with more than 14,000 students from across the country, participated in this examination.
Principal Prof. Atima Sharma Dwivedi congratulated the brilliant students for this outstanding achievement, stating that KMV consistently makes untiring efforts to cultivate enthusiasm and curiosity for science among its students so that they can develop a scientific mindset and be encouraged to contribute to the field of research. She further maintained that events like National Graduate Physics Examination are positive steps towards fostering an interest in physics among students. She lauded the efforts of all the teachers who provide guidance to the students.
