Jalandhar: In a new initiative, the NCC cadets of Kanya Maha Vidyalaya (KMV) paid obeisance to Shaheed Sardar Udham Singh by cleaning statue of great martyr situated at Lamba Pind Chowk, Jalandhar. This initiative was done under the Swachta Abhiyaan launched by Prime Minister Shri Narender Modi.
Principal averred that involving youth in social activities helps the younger generation to become more responsible and ideal citizens of the country. She further maintained that the NCC cadets of KMV were involved in various activities like cleaning & maintaining public parks & donating blood etc. from time to time during the academic session.
She averred that KMV has also adopted villages under Unnat Bharat Abhiyaan.
Principal lauded the efforts of all NCC cadets and Lt. Seema Arora, Incharge, NCC for this initiative.
