KMV’s NCC cadets honoured for excelling at National level Camps
Kanya Maha Vidyalaya (Autonomous) works to empower youthful women and focuses on their holistic development and NCC cadets at KMV work hard to realize the noble mission of their institution. NCC Cadets of KMV were given an opportunity to participate in different National camps through their hard work and they proudly excelled in all of these camps.
Jalandhar, March 2, 2024: Kanya Maha Vidyalaya (Autonomous) works to empower youthful women and focuses on their holistic development and NCC cadets at KMV work hard to realize the noble mission of their institution. NCC Cadets of KMV were given an opportunity to participate in different National camps through their hard work and they proudly excelled in all of these camps.
Senior under officer Shweta Rana was the only cadet from the jalandhar group selected for RDC- Republic Day Parade 2024 at Kartavya Path New Delhi and represented Punjab, Himachal, Haryana & Chandigarh directorate. Senior under officer Vinakshi Choudhary was also the only cadet selected from the jalandhar group for training at Officers Training Academy, Chennai and she was also selected as best cadet of jalandhar group and furthermore was selected for inter directorate sports shooting championship at Thiruvanthapuram. Under officer Amarjeet Kaur was the only cadet from 2Pb(G) Bn NCC Jal. to be selected for national level All India Thal Sainik Camp at Delhi and also part of the Republic Day Parade at Guru Gobind Singh Stadium Jalandhar. Moreover, Cadet Ruhani Sharma, Aarti, Preeti, Anamika, Bhanu and Kashish attended the District level Republic Day Parade at Guru Gobind Singh Stadium Jalandhar.
Principal Prof. Atima Sharma Dwivedi congratulated all the cadets on their special achievement and inspired them to serve the country by becoming an officer in Indian Army in the future. Madam Principal lauded the efforts of NCC Department of KMV for providing proper guidance and mentoring to all the cadets. All the cadets who excelled at national level camps were honoured with Cash Prize and Trophy by Col. Maninder Singh Sachdeva, Commanding Officer 2 Pb (G) Battalion Jalandhar for their wonderful performance in the NCC.
