KMV’s Pawanpreet Kaur bag laurels at national level
Principal Prof Dr Atima Sharma Dwivedi congratulated Pawanpreet on her brilliant achievement
Jalandhar: In an another achievement, Pawanpreet Kaur Manan, a student of MA Economics of Kanya Maha Vidyalaya have won a cash prize of 2100 rupees in a National Level Online Poetry Competition organised by Raktkosh Foundation. Her poem titled “ Tu Raktdaan Kar” won her this prize. The poem gave a message of donating blood in order to save the lives of many people who are in dire need of it. In addition to this, Pawanpreet Kaur also bagged consolation prize in the National Level Essay Writing Competition organised by Dayanand Mahila Mahavidalaya, Kurukshetra. It is pertinent to mention that the students of KMV have also received various laurels and accolades of National level from various ministries of Indian government such as Ministry of Jal Shakti & Ministry of Information & Broadcasting for performing various social welfare activities.
Principal Prof Dr Atima Sharma Dwivedi congratulated Pawanpreet on her brilliant achievement. She averred that it is very important that the students should participate in this type of creative activities so that their energy could be channelize to the positive direction. She further maintained that in KMV we always inspire students to participate in all kinds of co-curricular activities.
