KMV's Research Cell Organizes Research Forum

PG Department of English showcased its Presentation on Research
Jalandhar, November 30, 2018: Kanya Maha Vidyalaya- the Heritage & Autonomous Institution, Jalandhar have always encouraged its faculty to become more research oriented and innovative in its approach. The Research Cell of KMV organized a Research Forum in order to promote the research aptitude in the teachers and to highlight the various research related achievements of the faculty. This time the PG Department of English showcased their presentation on the various research related activities that English department has accomplished from time to time. The opening presentation was presented by Dr. Madhumeet, Associate Professor, English Department in which she explained about the ''Research Process'' and emphasized on the literary research to the faculty members. She explained about the research process that every researcher has to accomplished in order to do any type of good research and what are the various parameters that one needs to take care of in order to get its research work published in international and national journals. The research profiles of various teachers from the English department were also shown during the forum by Mrs Seema Jain, Head, English Department. It is important to mention that the Research Forum is one of the regular feature of the college which is organized from time to time in order to promote the research. Principal Prof. (Dr.) Atima Sharma Dwivedi lauded the efforts of Research Cell, IQAC of the college and averred that this is a very good learning experience for all the faculty members and that in KMV we always promote our faculty to engage in the research oriented activities and to also highlight the work done on national as well as on global level. Principal Madam also highlighted the fact that KMV has also allocated Seed Money for the students and the teachers who wish to undertake any research project in their respective fields.
