KMV’s swimming players bag gold medals in swimming competitions

Jalandhar, October 25, 2024: Kanya Maha Vidyalaya (Autonomous), an institution known for its commitment to both education and sports has once again excelled in sports.
In this series, K.M.V.'s swimming players have earned numerous medals in district-level swimming competitions, bringing pride to the college. KMV Swimming Players participated in District Level Punjab Khed Mela Swimming Competition and secured various positions. Rajvir Kaur secured Gold Medals in 400m and 200m events, Sukhjeet Kaur secured Gold Medals in 200 Meter Breast Stroke and 100 Meter Breast Stroke Event, Hardeep Kaur secured Gold Medal in 50 Meter free style and Silver Medal in 200m Event & Navneet Kaur secured Gold Medal in 200 Metre Free Style Event and Bronze Medal in 100 Meter Free Style Event.
Principal Prof. Dr. Atima Sharma Dwivedi congratulated the student-athletes on their success, inspiring them to continue their journey towards success in the future. She also highlighted the institution's support for student-athletes, offering them facilities such as free education, accommodation, transportation, a modern swimming pool, open playgrounds, health clubs, state-of-the-art gymnasiums, and more, which contribute to their recognition at the national and international levels. She lauded the efforts of Dr Davinder, Manpreet Kaur & Coach Shiv Kumar for this achievement.
