KMV’s upgraded syllabus along with professional skills contributing much to the international placements of students

Jalandhar, June 19, 2024: Kanya Maha Vidyalaya (Autonomous), a pioneer institution in women’s education, proudly announces the international placements of its outstanding students, who have secured prestigious positions with annual packages reaching up to 70 lacs INR. 

Jasmine Parmar from Bio-Technology Department has been selected to join the Wyss Institute for Biologically inspired Engineering at Harvard University under the Khorana Programme for Scholars initiative of Government of India at a package of 70 lacs per annum. Selected under this prestigious program, Jasmine will get an opportunity to get research exposure at leading U.S. universities. 

Lavleen Saini, one of the outstanding students of M.Sc. Physics, has secured a prestigious placement at Rutgers University, USA. Ms. Lavleen will be joining the Department of Materials Science & Engineering, School of Engineering, Rutgers University as a Graduate Assistant at a package of 40 lacs per annum. 

Students from KMV's Hospitality & Tourism program namely Saloni, Divya Bhadran, Harita Jaidka, Gurpreet Kaur and Gurleen Kaur also secured coveted placements at esteemed establishments such as Hyatt Hotel in Boston and Loews Hotel in Arlington, Texas, USA at a lucrative package of 37.5 lacs per annum that bespeaks their exemplary practical skills and training.  

Throwing more light on it, Principal Prof. Dr. Atima Sharma Dwivedi averred that KMV’s upgraded syllabus has been instrumental in this success.
