KMV’s Vajinder Kaur invited to attend 8th International Vedic Mathematics Conference as resource person

Jalandhar, April 30, 2022: Kanya Maha Vidyalaya (Autonomous) always provides its students with immense opportunities to advance in their respective fields. In an another major achievement, Vajinder Kaur, a student of the PG Department of Mathematics received an invitation to attend the 8th International Vedic Mathematics Conference as a resource person organised by the Institute for the Advancement of Vedic Mathematics, UK. In this conference organised for all the students from grade VI to X, information related to the subject of Applications of Vedic Mathematics Techniques was provided in which students from 20 countries all over the world participated. Along with this, Vajinder Kaur made the college proud by securing the second position in the open category in Lilavati Mathematical Poem Composition under the international competition organised as part of this conference. It is noteworthy that Vajinder is one of the few promising students of Punjab who have also been selected in Level O under Mathematics Training and Talent Search Programme.
Principal Prof. Atima Sharma Dwivedi congratulated Ms Vajinder for her special success and wished her a bright future and also inspired her to achieve her set goal with such hard work and dedication. She lauded the efforts of PG Department of Mathematics for mentoring and guiding the students brilliantly.
