Ferozepur, March 10, 2022: Not a surprise to many, AAP candidates secured thumping victories in all the four segments in Ferozepur.
In Ferozepur (Urban), AAP’s Ranbir Bhullar won by defeating sitting Congress MLA Parminder Singh Pinki with a margin of 19212 votes. While Bhullar got 47997 votes, Pinki could get only 28785 votes. BJP Candidate Gurmit Singh Sodhi, who had joined BJP few months ago stood third with 24476 votes while SAD’s Rohit Vohra stood fourth.
In Ferozepur Rural, Rajnish Dahiya of AAP, who is an advocate by profession, won by 27746 votes. Dahiya got 75293 votes while his nearest rival Ex MLA Joginder Singh Jindu of SAD got 47547 votes. Congress candidate Ashu Bangar secured 20396 votes.
In Zira, Former Ex MLA Naresh Kataria won a margin of 21918 votes by defeating the sitting Congress MLA Kulbir Singh. Kataria got 61827 votes while Janmeja Singh Sekhon of SAD who had shifted his base from Ferozepur to Zira got 39909 votes while the sitting MLA Kulbir came third with 39007 votes.
In Guruharsahai, AAP candidate Fouja Singh Sarari defeated SAD’s Vardev Singh Noni Mann with a margin of 10574 votes. Fouja Singh secured 68343 votes while Mann could get 57769 votes only.
