KT Rama Rao, Minister, Govt of Telangana and Amitabh Kant, former CEO Niti Aayog to present FLO Hyderabad Business Awards for Women Entrepreneurs

Hyderabad, January 9, 2023:  An Awards Presentation Ceremony of FLO (FICCI Ladies Organisation) Hyderabad Business Awards for Women Entrepreneurs to be held in the city at The Address Conventions at Narsingi in Hyderabad on 11th January, 2023.

K T Rama Rao, Minister for IT, Industries, MA&UD, Govt. of Telangana will be the Chief Guest.  Sri Amitabh Kant, India’s G20 Sherpa and Former CEO, Niti Aayog will be the Special Guest of Honour. Both the dignitaries will present the awards.

16 winners hailing from a wide variety of industry sectors will be honoured.

Jayanti Dalmia, National President, FLO and Pinky Reddy, Past National President, FLO will be Guests of Honour. Over 500 FLO members, spouses and elite of Hyderabad are expected to attend the well curated event.

World Famous Wheelchair Dance Show by Differently Abled, Miracle on Wheels will be performed at the Awards Function. The artists of Miracle On Wheels will exhibit extraordinary talents on stage which have won Guinness Book of World Records, Limca Book of World Records.

The FLO Hyderabad Business Awards was instituted by FLO Hyderabad Chapter to recognise Business Excellence in women-led and women-owned enterprises in the State of Telangana. Across various categories, the awards will honour Innovation, Best Practices, Impact created in the Society and Contribution to the Economy at large.

To bring governance and transparency to the awardee selection process, FLO Hyderabad appointed Primus Partners, New Delhi as the Consulting Agency to screen, tabulate, evaluate on specific parameters and shortlist the top 5 applicants in each category for the final jury selection process.

Applications were invited from women entrepreneurs from various sectors in the month of November 2022. A 9-member Jury Panel consisting of Rajat Kumar, IAS,  Spl. Chief Secretary to Govt., Irrigation & Command Area Development Department, Jayesh Ranjan – IAS, Principal Secretary of the Industries & Commerce (I&C) and Information Technology (IT) Departments of the Telangana Government,  Madhuri Duggirala - Vice President, Tech Customer Experience- Google, Charulata Ravi Kumar - Managing Director at Accenture, Rani Reddy, Director, Marketing & Corporate Communications at Sakshi, Sateesh  Andra - Managing Director at Endiya Partners, Jyotsna Angara, Past Chairperson, FLO Hyderabad, Shubhraa Maheshwari, Chairperson, FLO Hyderabad and Sonali Saraf, Chairperson, YFLO Hyderabad scrutinised over 64 applications from women entrepreneurs representing organisations that have set benchmarks for quality service, product innovation, and good business strategy that supports sustainable growth.

“The nominations submitted to the FLO Hyderabad Business Awards were outstanding, and illustrate the continued vibrancy of innovation and achievement across the State’s economic landscape,” said one of the jury members.
