Kular & Kukreja to be honoured with “Jewels of Punjab” Award by former PM Dr Manmohan Singh

Ludhiana, December 10, 2019: A grand event – marking the global celebrations of 550th birth anniversary of Shri Guru Nanak Dev ji will be held on 20 December, 2019 to launch the second edition of Jewels of Punjab: Leading Global Punjab Personalities, at The Ashok Hotel, Delhi. The former Prime Minister of India, Dr Manmohan Singh, the chief guest at the event, will launch the exclusive, coffee-table book that has short autobiographies of influential Punjabis. The book has life journeys of two Ludhiana-based entrepreneurs and philanthropists, S. Harjinder Singh Kukreja and Renowned Industrialist & President FICO S. Gurmeet Singh Kular who will be honoured by the former Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh Mr. Abhishek Kumawat Director Munish Media & World Punjabi Organization said that the book will feature 75 Punjabi personalities like Fauja Singh, Tan Dhesi, Dr Amarjit Marwah from 19 countries. The featured personalities will also be felicitated at the event. The Guests of Honour assisting the Chief Guest Dr Manmohan Singh on the dais are Mr Hardeep Puri (Civil Aviation Minister), Mr Rana Gurmit Singh (Sports and NRI Minister of Punjab), Padma Shri VS Sahney (President of World Punjabi Organisation) and Mr.Chandmal Kumawat (Chairman of Maneesh Media). The presentation of awards and mementoes will be followed by dinner, networking and photo sessions with the Jewels and the VVIPs. Some of the highlights of the evening will be a documentary film on Guru Nanak Dev Ji, gripping video clips showcasing the achievements of these jewels. The first edition in this series, Jewels of Punjab: Leading Global Punjab Personalities – Vol I, was launched in 2017, also by Dr Manmohan Singh.
