Kular organised langar on Baisakhi
More than 2000 people were served with the Guru Ka Langar
Ludhiana: Gurmeet Singh Kular In-charge Halqa Atam Nagar (Shiromani Akali Dal) organized a Langer on Baisakhi. The needy and poor people especially the migrant labourers in Halqa Atam Nagar were served the langer while keeping the constraints of the social distancing in consideration. More than 2000 people were served with the Guru Ka Langer.
Baisakhi is a historical and religious festival in Punjab being celebrated especially by Sikhs and Hindus. Baisakhi is the Spring Harvest Festival, also it is the day on which commemorates the formation of Khalsa Panth of warriors under Guru Gobind Singh in 1699.
“We wish one and all a very happy and prosperous Baisakhi”, he said.
