Guru Nanak Public School, Model Town Extension, Ludhiana celebrated its 43rd Annual Prize Distribution Function, a myriad of celebrations replete with music, dazzling dances and hues of colours amidst great zest, vibrancy and elation. Kultar Singh Sandhwan, Speaker of the Punjab Legislative Assembly graced the occasion as the esteemed Chief Guest. Hardeep Singh Lodhi and Jasdev Singh Sekhon were the guests of honour.
Ludhiana, November 19, 2022: Guru Nanak Public School, Model Town Extension, Ludhiana celebrated its 43rd Annual Prize Distribution Function, a myriad of celebrations replete with music, dazzling dances and hues of colours amidst great zest, vibrancy and elation. Kultar Singh Sandhwan, Speaker of the Punjab Legislative Assembly graced the occasion as the esteemed Chief Guest. Hardeep Singh Lodhi and Jasdev Singh Sekhon were the guests of honour.
The programme commenced with the floral welcome of the guests followed by the lighting of the ceremonial lamp by the Chief Guest accompanied by our worthy Principal Mona Singh and Jasbir Singh, President of GNPS Committee along with other eminent dignitaries.
Commencing on a devotional note, the celebration embraced various facets of society and culture. School's achievements were presented through the annual report of the past session. Meritorious students were given prizes for excellence in various fields. The Chief Guest addressed the audience and motivated the students through his valuable speech.
The cultural event was set rolling by evoking the blessings of the goddess of knowledge through Saraswati Vandana dance. With the aim to celebrate the diversity of dance, many dazzling and mesmerizing dance performances such as Rajasthani dance, French dance, Bhangra and Luddi enriched with rich music and costume held the audience spellbound. Adding to the entertainment, an amazing French Fashion Show and Yoga were performed. Audience enthralled while students showcased their talent in acting through mime based on the theme 'Say No to Drugs'. The function culminated with the National Anthem.
