Kulwinder Buttar honoured in Lyallpur Khalsa College

Jalandhar: Kulwinder butter former Program Executive Jalandhar Doordarshan was honoured today by the College principal Dr. Gurpinder Singh Samra in a brief function held in the Lyallpur Khalsa College today. It is worth mentioning here that Ms. Buttar has been awarded in the film and television category by the State Language Department.
Lauding Ms. Buttar's services to Punjabi language, Dr Samra said that that during her long service spanning 35 years, Ms. Buttar made documentaries and TV programs relating to Punjabi culture and language and for the reason the state government was honoring her with the prestegious award.He congratulated Prof. Gopal Singh Buttar on this achievement. He also said that Lyallpur Khalsa College was committed to preservation and promotion of Punjabi cultural heritage and its values, and was making relentless efforts in this direction with the active participation of its Punjabi Department. Prof. Surinderpal Mand, Prof. Harjinder Singh, Prof. Kuldip Sodhi were also present on this occasion.
