KVK Amritsar imparts In-Service Training in CBC-Intrepretation
In-service training course on “Complete Blood Count (CBC) Interpretation” was organized under the aegis of Punjab Agricultural University and ICAR-ATARI, Zone-I, Ludhiana at Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Amritsar in which 20 field staff from Department of Animal Husbandry of Amritsar district participated. The training course was organized under the able guidance of Dr Bikramjit Singh, Associate Director (Training), KVK, Amritsar.

Ludhiana, December 26, 2023: In-service training course on “Complete Blood Count (CBC) Interpretation” was organized under the aegis of Punjab Agricultural University and ICAR-ATARI, Zone-I, Ludhiana at Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Amritsar in which 20 field staff from Department of Animal Husbandry of Amritsar district participated. The training course was organized under the able guidance of Dr Bikramjit Singh, Associate Director (Training), KVK, Amritsar.
Dr Bikramjit Singh welcomed the participants, and shared the mandate and activities of KVK.
Dr Kanwarpal Singh Dhillon, Assistant Professor (Animal Science), KVK Amritsar and Course Coordinator, imparted detailed knowledge on various topics including total leucocytes count (TLC), differential leukocyte count (DLC), morphology of erythrocyte and leucocyte, classification of anaemia, diagnostic approach to anaemic patient and erythrocyte indices.
