Kwality Walls donates 12 ice cream tricycle carts to differently abled persons
Main aim of this initiative to make them self-dependent
Ludhiana: To ensure that differently abled persons become self-dependent, 12 ice cream tricycle carts were distributed to differently abled persons at National Career Service Centre For Differently Abled. These carts have been provided free of cost by ice cream company, Kwality walls.
Besides this, the officials from Hindustan Uniliver have also sought names of more differently abled persons for other welfare works.
Mr Ashok Kullu, Assistant Director (Employment), National Career Service Centre For Differently Abled, informed that set up in the year 1973, the differently abled persons are being provided help for self-employment, skill development, etc. At present, more than 40 differently abled persons are undergoing training at the centre. The trainees are provided Rs 2500 as scholarship along with free food, which is provided by Food for Life Organisation. /(Feb 27)
