Dharamshala, February 2, 2025: Bharatiya Janata Party State President Dr. Rajiv Bindal today joined the last rites of senior BJP leader, former minister, former MP Kishan Kapoor in Dharamshala and paid tribute to him. He met Kishan Kapoor's son Shashwat Kapoor and other family members and consoled them and said that Kishan Kapoor was one of the senior leaders of BJP and he made an incomparable contribution to the party in his political life.
Dr. Bindal said that Kishan Kapoor was an MLA 5 times and a minister thrice and during this time he contributed immensely to the development of the state. From the formation of the party in 1980 till now, he discharged various responsibilities of the party with full devotion. His death has definitely caused an irreparable loss to the party. He said that in this hour of grief, the party stands with the bereaved family. He prayed to God for the peace of the departed soul.
On this occasion, Leader of Opposition Jai Ram Thakur, State Organization General Secretary Siddharthan, Kangra Parliamentary Constituency in-charge and MLA Vipin Parmar, MP and State Vice President Dr. Rajiv Bhardwaj, Kangra District President Sachin Sharma, Pawan Kajal, Rakesh Pathania and many other senior BJP leaders paid their emotional tribute to Kishan Kapoor.
