Law Sports Fest concludes at PU

Chandigarh, October 23, 2019: The two days Law Sports Fest ‘Ebullience-19’ organized by the Department of Laws, Panjab University, Chandigarh, concluded here today. Tree Plantation at Department was done where three trees from three batches were planted. The indoor games which followed included Chess, Carom, Table Tennis at Student Centre and outdoor games included tug of war and Cricket Match of both girls and boys was held at Athletic Court, Campus ground with full zeal. Around 400 students participated in these games. Most of the indoor games were won by first semester students. The Tug of war was won by the staff of Law Department. The valedictory and prize distribution was presided over by Mr. Mandip Brar, IAS, DC, Chandigarh. He appreciated the efforts of the department and also encouraged the students for participating in such activities. Prof. Meenu Paul, Chairperson informed that this was the first ever event of Sports conducted at Department of Laws.
