Chandigarh, April 16, 2024: Today, University Institute of Applied Management Science, Panjab University, Chandigarh organised a lecture on funding start-ups.
The resource person was Dr.Karminder Ghuman, Head of an Incubator and CEO of an Angel Network. The Speaker in his address highlighted entrepreneurship ecosystem in India. He discussed the opportunities and challenge of the start-up funding, especially in India. Further, he shared tips on preparing pitches of funding identifying Angel Networks. His Lecture inspired youngsters to initiate start-up with their ideas.
Director, UIAMS Prof. Monika Aggarwal said that the aim of the lecture was to guide students on how to plan funds for initiating start-ups. The students’ Coordinators of ECRC Cell under faculty coordinator Dr. Manu Sharma highly appreciated the lecture.
Further students discussed about their business ideas that they presented earlier in idea competition organised at UIAMS and got guidance on how to move on to next stage.
