Chandigarh, February 23, 2024: Centre for Public Health conducted a lecture on “Prolonged Psycho-social stress and cancer: A Public Health Concern” held on Friday.
The lecture was delivered by Prof. Subhash C. Chauhan, Deptt. of Immunology and Microbiology, Founding Director, South Texas Center of Excellence in Cancer Research, Texas, USA.
The overall aim of lecture was to promote awareness on Psychological and Social Stress that cause cancer.
60 participants attended the lecture in the Seminar Hall of the Centre for Public Health, Panjab University, Chandigarh.
Dr. Komal Sehgal, Coordinator, Centre for Public Health, Dr. Manoj Kumar, Assistant Professor, Centre for Public Health and Dr. Bharat Bajaj, Assistant Professor, Centre for Nanoscience and Nanotechnology appreciated the efforts of resource person and enthusiasm of students.
