Chandigarh, May 30, 2022: Department of History in collaboration by DCDC today organised a Lecture to celebrate 75 years Azadi Ka Mahotsav with a Lecture of Sri Aurobindo and Foundation of Indian Culture by Dr. R. Subramani. He highlighted how Aurobindo liberated the philosophical ideas out of clutches of dogma and agreed with the notion that essence of India is dharma. India has spirituality in her veins and this traditions has past since the beggining of Indian civilization.
Prof Alok Srivastava also highlighted the philosophical superiority of indian thoughts and how it aims to harmonise both the material and spiritual world. Dr. Naresh Kumar offered vote of thanks and Dr. Priyatosh Sharma conducted the stage. Prof Sudhir Kumar, Dean Research, blessed the proceedings as the Guest of Honour.
