Lecture at UBS, PU

Chandigarh, December 13, 2018: The University Business School(UBS), Panjab University, Chandigarh organised an open Lecture on 'Cost Management and Strategy' by Prof Dinesh K Gupta and Prof P L Tandon, strategic Management, PU.
Professor Paramjit Kaur, Secretary Academic Committee of UBS welcomed the distinguished speakers Prof Gupta, Prof Deepak Kapur, Chairperson, UBS and Professor Karamjeet Singh, Dean of Management Studies and Registrar, PU, introduced the theme of the Lecture.
Professor Gupta explained the concept of Cost Management and its Relationship with Strategy. He explained the different techniques of Cost Management and focused on target costing taking up the case studies of Toyota, Nissan and mentioned about several other Multinational Corporations.He highlighted its relevance in the Context of success of any organisation in globalised competitive environment.
