Reducing girl’s age from 18 to 16 will create problems

Talks are on to reduce age limit of girls from 18 to 16 for solemnising marriages. I think it will create problems. A few political and social activists are demanding for reduction in the age limit for girls for solemnising the marriage. This is a very sensitive issue. Therefore, decision, if any, should be taken only after a thorough debate and taking into consideration all the aspects.

Advocate,

Jalandhar.

Women empowerment, safety security is the need of the hour

Everybody is concerned about the women empowerment, safety, and security across the country. The government too seems to be concerned on these issues. I strongly believe that the government should post female police officers in every police station across the country to monitor the law and order, safety and security of the women , especially for working women. The need of the hour is to give strict punishment to those indulging in heinous crimes against women. The judgments may be given within time bound time. Trial of cases like rape cases be done in Fast Track Courts for speedy justice.
