Lexus opens luxurious new Guest Experience Centre in Chandigarh
Lexus India announced the opening of its new and opulent Guest Experience Centre (GEC) at Industrial Area -Phase 1, Chandigarh.
Chandigarh, March 25, 2022: Lexus India announced the opening of its new and opulent Guest Experience Centre (GEC) at Industrial Area -Phase 1, Chandigarh; aimed at making the Lexus experience more incredible and unique for its discerning guests. In addition to Chandigarh, Lexus has its GECs in Mumbai, New Delhi, Bangalore and Hyderabad.
All Lexus GECs are aimed at bringing together the Japanese philosophy of “Omotenashi” meaning exceptional hospitality with the Indian spirit of “Athithi Devo Bhava” to anticipate guests’ needs and to provide them the amazing Lexus experience.
Located in the city of Chandigarh, the Lexus GEC takes its inspiration from the design philosophy of Le Corbusior , the renowned Swiss-French architect, designer, urban planner, who is regarded as one of the pioneers of modern architecture who designed the City of Chandigarh. He believed that Architecture is a tool that could establish relationships of a lifetime and believed in designs that had a practical yet an emotional appeal.
The Lexus GEC at Chandigarh is an amalgamation of elements that bring together a sense of modern yet practical and emotional appeal. The GEC is made with elements wood with a focus on the 5 senses of see, hear, smell, taste and touch that creates a warm and woody feeling to make guests feel at home.
The conceptual design of the GEC conveys a sense of warmth and elegance showcased through the Green Garden around the GEC to resonate with regional taste, semi vaulted roof and vitrified tiles used to recreate the façade of the modern & well-planned city of Chandigarh. Divided into various spaces, the GEC includes a fully equipped exclusive Lexus Boutique Service area with a service Lounge, cheerful delivery room and relaxing lounge area to make its guests feel the comfort of their own home. With warm light fixtures to louvered ceilings – the design depicts an amalgamation of modern, elegant yet warm feeling inside.

Lexus India will soon be expanding its network of Guest Experience Centres to Kochi and Chennai. Lexus is also planning to open a Lexus Brand Experience Centre in Gurgaon, a “Go to Home” Lexus Lounge in Kerala and a Lexus Experience Centre on the virtual platform to move closer to it guests.
