Life Insurance Corporation of India honours its 17 Agents with Gold Medal in view of their best performance during the year 2013 at Ferozepur.

Ferozepur, August 23, 2013: In a simple and impressive ceremony, presided over Kirpal Singh, Branch Manager and Upkar Singh, Assistant Manager, Life Insurance Corporation of India honoured its 17 Agents with Gold Medal in view of their best performance during the year 2013.

Divisional Principal S.S.Meena, LIC from Amritsar was the special guest on this occasion.

Speaking on the occasion, Meena appreciated the team of 17 Agents working under Ved Parkash Chouhar, CLI. He further said in future also, they will honoured in view of the performance for promoting the business of LIC.

Meena said, the story of insurance is probably as old as the story of mankind. The same instinct that prompts modern businessmen today to secure themselves against loss and disaster existed in primitive men also.  It is the largest insurance group and investment company in India found in 1956 with the merger of 245 insurance companies and provident societies, having 3500 servicing offices including 2048 branches, 54 customer zones, 25 metro area service hubs with net work of 13,37,064 individual agents, 242 corporate agents, 79 referral agents, 98 brokers and 42 banks for soliciting life insurance business from the public with estimated assets of Rs.1325000 crore, say about 210 billion dollar.
