Ludhiana, March 8, 2015: LIC Women Employees, under the banner of NZIEA (Northern Zone Insurance Employees’ Association) celebrated 108th International Women Day in a befitting manner. As per the earlier years, all the women employees of LIC gathered in Govt Middle School in Dugri Village and donated 1000 copies and 2 Long Mats for the use of students. The students welcomed all the women employees with a cultural programme on the theme of girl child and addiction of drugs.
After the distribution of Copies and mates, a meeting was held in LIC Divisional Office where Dr.B.K.Gill, MD (Gyane), Fellowship-ICOG, Former Lecturer & Head of the Deptt (Obesity & Gyane), Dayanand Medical College & Hospital, Ludhiana who was specially invited on the occasion. Who graced the occasion and delivering her lecture on Menopause and Gyane Problems.
While releasing the press note, Ritu Abaan, Convener, Women Sub Committee told that more than 65 Women Employees had participated in the meeting and feel honored by attending the lecture delivered by Dr. B.K.Gill, on Menopause and Gyane Problems.
Award of Honour was given away to Dr. B.K.Gill on behalf of Women Sub Committee.
