Chandigarh, November 20, 2024: The Association of Microbiologists of India (AMI) has conferred Lifetime Achievement Award to Dr Praveen Rishi, Prof. (Rtd), Dept of Microbiology, Panjab University, Chandigarh.
The award was conferred during 65th Annual International Conference, Association of Microbiologists of India (AMI) for her remarkable contribution to the field of Microbiology throughout her professional journey.
AMI is one of the oldest and reputed scientific organizations of the country, which has contributed significantly towards development of microbiology, particularly in areas of research and teaching in country. There are more than 5392 life and annual members and about 450 corporate members of the Association. The Association holds a National convention annually at one of the well established centers of microbiology in the country and this conference was held at Hisar, this year.
