KMV Radio VOW Touches Horizons with its 200th programme ‘200 Din Yuvaon Ke Sang’
Jalandhar, June 24, 2018: Kanya Maha Vidyalaya-The Autonomous and Heritage Institution, Jalandhar’s Online Radio Channel ‘VOW’ (Voice of Women) has reached its landmark 200th episodes with the broadcast of ‘200 Din Yuvaon Ke Sang’.
At this juncture Prof.Atima Sharma Dwivedi congratulated the team of Department of Journalism and Mass Communication who have played a pivotal role in dealing with various youth issues through the very popular on-line medium. She averred that on-line media is the best way of connecting with the youth who have a great craze for this medium. VOW Radio has been actively and relevantly touching upon various social, economic and cultural topics. She appreciated Ms. Nidhi Sharma from Department of Journalism who has been keenly involved with the programmes carried on by VOW Radio and maintained that VOW which stands for Voice of Women has given much space to woman issues. The best thing about VOW Radio is that the students prepare the content, the students are the RJs and they only present the programme which is no mean achievement.
During this moment of celebration Dr. Madhumeet, Dean Department of Journalism and Mass Communication and teachers of JMC department Mrs. Manpreet Kaur, Mr Sandeep Singh and Ms. Priya Chander were also present.
