The installation ceremony of Sanjay Goel as President of Lions Club Ludhiana Decent taking place.
Ludhiana, January 20, 2014: Lions Club International through its clubs in Ludhiana shall try its best to reduce all types of pollutions whether it is air, water or noise through various means including plantation of trees.
Lions club had already planted more than 50,000 trees in last 6 months and more steps will be taken in future to save environment and minimise pollution.
This was information was given by Lion’s District Governor Lion Krishan Mohan Gupta during the installation ceremony of Sanjay Goel as President of Lions Club Ludhiana Decent.
He also informed that already more than 3500 eye surgeries (Intraocular Lens) have been successfully completed in the district.
More than 2500 new members have also joined Lionism in the last 6 months.
