Live peer learning workshop on ice-cream making

Chandigarh: In order to encourage the spirit of entrepreneurship and peer learning Government Home Science College organized an online workshop cum demonstration session on Icecream making. The workshop was conducted by Aanchal Goyal, budding entrepreneur and student of B.Sc. Home Science final year.
Aanchal also shared her experience that how she started her own startup ‘Delicious Delicacies’ which is running successfully with more than 100 followers on Instagram. The budding entrepreneur demonstrated the art of making different flavors of ice-cream and also how to do creative plating and decoration of the same. She also de demonstrated the various innovative techniques of plating the cakes. The workshop was quite interactive, informative and participants gained a lot from it. The workshop was big hit and it was viewed by more than 250 participants.
Aanchal also expressed her heartfelt gratitude to worthy principal ma’am and faculty members of college for motivating and inspiring her to conduct this workshop. She added that she has been successful enough in starting her own startup by learning from the college itself.
Principal Prof. Sudha Katyal appreciated the efforts of the student in organizing this workshop for various stakeholders. She also urged other students to exploit their skills and become self-reliant.
