LMA celebrates its 43rd Anniversary
The event was conducted to facilitate the blazing industrialists and entrepreneurs of Ludhiana
Ludhiana, December 17, 2021: The Ludhiana Management Association organized its 43rd Anniversary and award function on Friday at Hotel Park Plaza, Ludhiana. The Governor of Punjab, Banwarilal Purohit was the distinguished guest. The event was conducted to facilitate the blazing industrialists and entrepreneurs of Ludhiana. It was organized & managed by the members of LMA which had the President Dr. Sandeep Kapur, the Vice President Neeraj Jain and the General Secretary Harpreet Kang.
LMA, which started in 1978 is a multi-directional organization which focuses on education, training and many other aspects. The awards presented by LMA reflect gratitude, recognize excellence and motivate the youth. The first award, LMA Vardhman Award for Entrepreneurship was presented to Amit Gupta followed by the second award, LMA Dayanand Munjal Award which was presented to Dr. Bishav Mohan who happened to be a Chief Cardiologist. Then the third and fourth awards were presented to Raghav Choudhary- LMA Trident and Jitendra Manchanda - LMA Harichand. After this Arjun Sethi was awarded the LMA Sohan lal Pahwa award for engineering SME. The last award was presented to Late D.L Sharma which was received by his daughter-in-law.
Then the podium was taken by the Chief Guest Banwarilal Purohit who started by congratulating all the award winners. He said “Today on the occasion of the 43rd-anniversary celebration I congratulate all the award winners and organizers of the function. We are progressing in fighting covid-19 and the award winners did a great job in handling the pandemic situation. Ludhiana is largely concentrating on the small-scale industries and producing the brightest minds in the areas of business. We need to create an ecosystem where young people will be job givers rather than seekers.” He quoted that 'IQ is needed for the best management. He added that our youngsters are ready to work in diverse countries like Iraq and this needs to be reversed. He ended the speech by quoting Mahatma Gandhi's statement from "Young India" that ‘Commerce without Morality is a sin’.
